Do I need to book in advance for my pet's stay at Sherwood Pet Ranch?
Yes, it is highly recommended to provide us with prior notice of your boarding plans. This helps our staff to prepare and provide the best care for your pet, and also ensures availability of a boarding space, especially during busy holiday and summer periods. We do not charge any cancellation fees, so it’s always better to be safe and book early to avoid disappointment. In the case of unexpected plans or emergencies, we will do our best to accommodate your pet’s stay, however, please note that availability may be limited, and current vaccination documentation is required for boarding.
Do indoor pets still require vaccinations?
Yes, for the well-being of all guests at Sherwood Pet Ranch, all pets must be vaccinated as follows:
DOGS – Up-to-date DHPP, bordetella, and a signed Rabies Certificate with the serial number and vaccine manufacturer listed.
CATS – Current FVRCP vaccine and a signed Rabies Certificate with the serial number and vaccine manufacturer listed.
When can my young pet stay at Sherwood Pet Ranch?
Your pet must be at least 16 weeks old to enjoy a stay with us.
Is it mandatory for my pet to undergo spaying or neutering before boarding at Sherwood Pet Ranch?
No. However, it’s crucial to inform our team if your pet is unaltered as it helps us to provide them with the necessary care and attention they deserve. Our boarding process minimizes the risk of any unforeseen incidents as each pet stays in their individual enclosure and receives individual attention from our skilled staff.
What sort of Payment methods do you accept?
At Sherwood Pet Ranch, we accept a variety of payment methods including cash, check, major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Keep in mind that a small convenience fee of 3% will apply to all credit/debit transactions.
Is a deposit required?
At Sherwood Pet Ranch, you can book with peace of mind, knowing there are no deposit requirements or cancellation fees. Life with pets and travel can be unpredictable, so we believe in flexibility and understanding. If your plans change, simply let us know and we’ll adjust accordingly. This helps us better serve all of our furry guests, and ensures you never pay for a service you can’t use.
When do you receive payment?
At Sherwood Pet Ranch, payment for boarding will be collected upon check-in, while any additional enrichment or spa services will be payable upon check-out.
Where are my pets housed?
At Sherwood Pet Ranch, your furry friends will be housed in safe, comfortable and spacious accommodations based on their size, temperament, and number of pets boarding together. For dogs, we provide individual indoor/outdoor runs with cots and bedding, while cats will have access to single or double open-air kitty condos.
Is your facilities temperature controlled?
Yes. We ensure that your furry friends stay comfortable in their designated quarters, whether they’re cats and small animals, who stay entirely indoors, or dogs who have a spacious indoor/outdoor setup. Our facilities are equipped with central heating & air conditioning and continuously circulate fresh air. We also have a water misting system in place for the outdoor portions of the dog runs to keep the air cool and pleasant for them.
